Chemical Engineering for Other Engineers

Course Objectives:

To develop an understanding of fundamentals of the field of Chemical Engineering for all those working in the chemical, petrochemical, oil and process industries with a need to understand and discuss issues with the chemical engineering specialists.

 Who can attend?

Petroleum engineers, Mechanical engineers, Production engineers, Safety Engineers, trainee or under-development (UD) process engineers, R&D specialists, plant chemists, plant operators, geo-scientists and economists. Day-4: (Separation Processes)

·        Phase Equilibrium and distillation Processes

·        Gas-Liquid Separation and absorption Processes

·        Adsorption Processes

·        Solid Separation from Liquids and Gases

·        Air and Water Pollution Control

Day-5: (Process Control, Utilities and Economics)

·        Measurement and Control

·        Utility Generation and Handling

·        Preliminary Project Economics Evaluation
